Description:

This mod gives all six standard-maps a new look (Radar contains only detail-changes).
The pk3's include only the needed files, no bloat or scripts are included.


Installation for Server-Admins and Players:

Put the files "z_european-style_fd+rg.pk3"
and "z_european-style_sb+so+gr+wr.pk3" into the etmain folder.
To uninstall this mod remove the pk3's.


Note:

Only the textures will be changed, the gameplay of the maps itself is not affected!

The mod is server-sided, this means if the gameserver is running this mod (or it's an unpure-server) every player who installed the pk3's into the etmain-folder will see the changes - others not.
This mod will not be downloaded to the player to hold the traffic low and to avoid complaints. Not everyone likes the changes! If you're a serveradmin and you want that the mod will be downloaded to the client, put the pk3's into the etpro-folder, changing the pk3's is not needed and prohibited.

The mod is split into two parts, "z_european-style_sb+so+gr+wr.pk3" changes only Seawall Battery, Siwa Oasis, Gold Rush and Würzburg Radar.
The file "z_european-style_fd+rg.pk3" gives only Fuel Dump and Rail Gun a new design. So it's compatible with the mod "Less Snow for Fuel Dump & Rail Gun".


Changes:

Fuel Dump......: Summer-scenario, includes a lot of details
Gold Rush......: Looks now like an old city
Rail Gun.......: Autumn-scenario, no snowflakes but still fog
Seawall Battery: Normandy-style
Siwa Oasis.....: Ancient ruins
Würzburg Radar.: Only changes in a few details


Hab mal aufm BTC Forum Claw "angefragt" ob er denn Mod mal auf'n Server packt, da es mal ein bisschen abwechslung bringt, und man ihn ja wenn man mal ned mit dem spielen will, einfach aus seinem ET Verzeichnis löschen kann.....Ich finde "nice"!....

Er meinte, er wird ihn die Tage mal rauftun....also, wer will kann sich den ja einfach mal downloaden und ins ETmain Verz. kopieren, und falls man auf einen Server kommt, der diesen auch drauf hat...*freude*

würde ich sofort benützen! solche dinge bringen immer mächtig spass, wie auch der custom-chat, von dem ich euch nie überzeugen konnte!

Es sieht einfach (viel) besser aus!,....(is vielleicht auch nur subjektiv, weil man die anderen Texturen ja nun schon oft gesehen hat),..also Claw meinte, er schmeisst das mal rauf,...also bitte installieren,...

Noch zu dem Custom Chat von SS&BTC,....bei mir hat das nicht funktioniert,...habe mir das letzt Woche mal Runtergeladen und in ETmain Ordner gepackt,....aber 1. hab ich keine CustomChats je gehört. 2. gingen die Normalen Chats nicht mehr!,...komischer weisse konnte ich zb. nicht mehr v56 (great shot) machen,...aber andere dingen gingen,.....War verwirrt,...habs nun gelöscht,...nun geht wieder,...aber ansonsten sind die Samples ja schon noch lustich,..hab sonst mal reingehört

Die Maps sehen echt toll aus. Viel detailreichere und passendere Texturen.
Was den Chat betrifft, ich hab damit auch so meine Probleme. Gerade bei v56 ist mir das auch aufgefallen. Komischerweise scheinen die anderen Leute das aber zu hören, nur du selbst kriegst nix mit.
